It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Patricia (Pat) A. Barnett, a strong-willed and determined woman who lived life on her own terms. Pat departed this world on October 14, 2023 at the age of 76.

The daughter of Elizabeth (Dunn) and John Fitzgerald, Pat grew up alongside her beloved siblings, William (deceased), Mary (deceased) and Madeline in the close-knit community of Connelly, New York. From a young age, her unyielding determination empowered her to overcome numerous challenges and forge her path in life. Her resolute dedication to her principles and values stood as a testament to her unwavering character.

Pat started her professional career at the New York Telephone Co. and remained with the company for many years through its various mergers and acquisitions.  She was a dedicated executive, showcasing unwavering determination and work ethic in her career. Outside of work, she found solace and joy in golf and genealogy, sharing her passion with friends and family.

In her life's journey, Pat experienced the joys and challenges of two marriages. Her first marriage, to Donald J. Barnett, marked the beginning of a loving family that would later include her son, Kyle who meant the world to her. Her second marriage, to Charles Falco, brought new chapters and experiences that enriched her life.

Pat was a proud mother who cherished her son, Kyle and daughter-in-law, Sara. However, she was most proud of her role as a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Audrey (10) and Harrison (7), whose laughter and joy warmed her heart. Her enduring love for family, though sometimes expressed in her own unique way, was unwavering.

In addition to her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, surviving Patricia is her sister, Madeline "Maggie" Rodden, and her husband Bill. Patricia's legacy extends to her nieces and nephews, who will carry forward her memory.

In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her honor.

May she find rest in the loving embrace of her Lord and Savior, finally free from the constraints of this world.
