Patrick Radada Purvis

A memorial visitation will be held Monday January 19th  from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.

Patrick Radada Purvis, 73 , died Thursday January 15, 2026 at HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston.
Born in Manhattan, August 13,1952 a son of the late Paramata Richard and Barbara (George) Purvis.

A retired master craftsman and carpenter, Patrick was a rodeo bull rider during the championship years of Larry Mahan. An avid hunter and fisherman and fan of The Dallas Cowboys, his greatest love was being with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time telling old stories and sharing his knowledge of many topics.

He is survived by; his long time domestic partner Darlene Johnson and her family who he dearly loved. Brothers and sisters; P. Rod (Annie),  P. Randy (Jodie), Pace R. (Cindy), P. Reid (Susan),Heather Adams (Todd), P. Rally (Elizabeth), Paige Westbery (Joe), Dana Risher (Mark). Niece and Goddaughter, Erin Purvis, nephews Paul Purvis (Kristen) and Darrial Kouhout (Jeannie). Many additional nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Paul R., Peter R., Holly, and P. Rex. Nieces and nephews; Pierce Purvis, Bentley Gibbs and Paul Infinger.
