Paul J. Vogt

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

A funeral home service will take place at 4:00 PM.

Cremation will be held privately.

Paul J. Vogt, 82, of Hudson died Wednesday September 18, 2024 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. Born September 23, 1941 in the Bronx New York.

Paul was married to Linda " Lynne" (VanBuren) Vogt for 49 and half years before she passed away in 2013. Paul later became engaged to Patricia Brackett with whom he spent the last years of his life with in Livingston, NY

Paul began his 34 year career at Graphic Techniques Inc. as an electrical and mechanical draftsman, became a project estimator, and later an office manager in Kingston. Paul relocated to Albany we he worked as the production manager at Feuz Manufacturing, a precision machine shop, for 10 years before retiring in Florida.

Paul devoted much of his time to community as a coach and manager of the Hurley and Town of Ulster Little Leagues. Paul also belonged to the Hudson Elks Lodge #787, Kalicoontie Rod and Gun Club, and was a vestry member of Christ Church of Red Hook.

Paul is survived by his children Julie Gonia and her husband Gene, James Vogt and his wife Melissa, and David Vogt and his wife Vanessa, His siblings: Rita Fisk and George Vogt, as well as four grandchildren: Danielle, Delaney, Zander, and Kyra. Paul is also survived by 2 great grandchildren: Ava and RaeLynne.

In addition to his wife and parents, Paul is predeceased by his brothers: Heinz Vogt and Walter Vogt.
