Raymond Schick

Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 19th from 10 AM until 12 noon. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon.

Inurnment will follow in St. Remy Cemetery.

Raymond Schick, 81 , of Port Ewen passed away peacefully Wednesday November 12, 2025 at home. He was born September 15, 1944 in Kingston, a son of the late Frank and Ella (Freer) Schick.

Ray worked for many years as an engineer for Callanan Industries. He enjoyed classic cars, go kart racing, NASCAR, and was a fan of both the New York Mets and New York Jets.

Surviving is his wife Nancy Schick of Port Ewen, children Christa Bronson (Rodney) of Saugerties, Brian Schick (Robin) of Ulster Park, Katie Schick of Lake Katrine, grandchildren Olivia Bronson and Camille Dunham (Eric), stepchildren Scott Perry (Lauren), Amanda Stokes (Allen), step grandchildren Dylan, Kevin, Dylan, Dominic, Allisyn, A.J., and Kiera. He is also survived by his former wife Carol Schick, a niece Karen, nephew Kevin and their families, as well as step nieces and nephews, good friends Pat and Ted DeGraff, and many Callanan co-workers.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Ronald and Norman Schick and sister Lois Munson.

Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of contributions to Hudson Valley Hospice.
