Richard A. Maki

Richard A. Maki, 79 , passed away peacefully Monday March 2, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 7, 1949 in Duluth, Minnesota a son of the late Alex and Aili Maki.

Rich worked for IBM before beginning his career with Hitachi America, where he worked as a worldwide support specialist. He enjoyed boating in the summers and skiing in the winters. In his earlier years, he was an avid tennis player. He enjoyed a good laugh, and putting a smile on everyone's face.

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Dunne) Maki, and their beloved canine companion Blanche. He is also survived by in laws Kathy and Donald Ryan, Larry Dunne as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter Melissa Maki.
