Robert T. Brown, 90, President Emeritus of the State University of New York at Ulster, passed away on July 20, 2026, in Naples, Florida. He and his family lived in Hurley, Stone Ridge, and Kingston, New York, for more than 40 years before retiring to Naples.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Bonnie (Greene) Brown; daughters Holly Schoonmaker and Jana (Scott) Denny; grandchildren Stephanie (Jordan) King and Brandon (Sierra) Denny; great-grandchildren Liam and Rory; and son-in-law Michael Schoonmaker.
