Family and friends will be received at the funeral home Monday July 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
A funeral procession will form on Tuesday at 9:00 AM at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Mary's Church at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery.
Robert Charmello, 74, of Kingston died Friday July 7, 2023 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck with his wife at his side. Born June 10, 1949 in Kingston, New York he was the son of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Heaney) Charmello.
Robert served our country in the United States Navy from 1968-1972. He was the Chief Shift Supervisor at Central Hudson Power Plant, Danskammer in Roston New York until his retirement. A member of Kingston Post 150 American Legion, a longtime usher at the 8:00 AM Mass at St. Mary's Church, a life member of Sawkill Fire Department and member of Saint Mary's Benevolent Society. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the K.B.A. an avid golfer and member of Barefoot Golf Club in South Carolina.
Robert is survived by his wife with whom he celebrated fifty-two years of marriage on June 12, 2023, Sharon (Spoonhauer) Charmello; son Robert T. Charmello and his wife Jennifer; daughter Danielle Sickler. His brothers Joseph Charmello and his wife Carol and David Charmello. Grandchildren Nicholas Charmello, Alexandra Navarra and her husband Vinnie, and Olivia and Jack Sickler, great-grandchildren Charlotte and Carter Navarra, members of his extended family include Carol Schick and Stephen Sickler as well as many nieces and nephews also survive. His sister in law Kimberly Charmello predeceased him.
