Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday May 22nd from 4-7PM.

A funeral procession will form Tuesday 10 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM at St. Mary's Church.

Final prayers and military honors will follow at Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum

Robert V. Nerone, 71, of Port Ewen passed away peacefully Monday May 15, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born May 21, 1951 in Kingston, he is the son of the late Victor and Ellen "Ella" Nerone.

Robert worked for over thirty eight years as a cable technician with present-day Spectrum, seeing it go through many name changes Cable Vision, TCI, and Time Warner Cable. His most recent employment was with the American Driving School, teaching Defensive Driving and 5 Hour Certification Classes as well as a a loved employee of the Port Ewen Pharmacy as a Delivery Driver. He spent many years as a bowler with the City Minor League, and enjoyed golf in his spare time. Robert was a devoted New York Yankee and Giant fan.

Robert served 22 years in the Army National Guard: 1st Battalion 156th Field Artillery in Kingston, NY. He retired as Sergeant First Class in August of 1991.

Surviving is his wife Linda Nerone, a son Robert J. Nerone and his wife LeAnn of Glasco, a daughter Katlyn Nerone of Kingston, a granddaughter Shana Nerone. Siblings Victoria "Vicky" Hastings of Kingston, Thomas Nerone and his wife Maureen of Kingston. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
