Robert M. Porter

Robert M. Porter, 73 , of Kingston died Thursday April 9, 2026 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Mary's Avenue Campus. He was born November 27, 1952 in Kingston, the son of the late Robert and Rose (Mitchell) Porter.

Robert worked at Pronto Printer in Kingston. He enjoyed working with friends. Robert also worked for IBM in Fishkill for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Surviving is the love of his life, his wife Rebecca Porter; They were married 50 years this past June. Children Jeremy Porter (Sarah Allen) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Laura-Beth Apel and her husband Anthony of Sawkill. Robert had two Grandchildren, Louis and Lillian, whom he loved very much. He had a niece and nephew, Adam and Nicole, as well as great nieces and nephews in Florida. Cousins also survive in Kingston.
