Sandra J. Navitsky (Sparling)

The family will hold a private burial at their convenience in Maplewood Cemetery in Hunter Mountain in late Spring of 2025.

Sandra J. Navitsky (Sparling), 81, formerly of Saugerties died Sunday February 23, 2025 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingston. She was born July 10, 1943 in Tannersville, a daughter of the late Ida Mae (Matthews) Berglund.

Sandra was a self-employed home healthcare aide, who took care of many people in the area over the years. She loved holidays, and was known to keep her Christmas tree up all year long decorated for each coming holiday. Some things that never changed throughout her life was her love of keeping a tidy home, fast cars, and Bud Light.

Surviving are her children Debbie Boice and Keith Leonard of Olivebridge, Donna and Chris Gentile of Saugerties, and William Brockway and Amanda Farrell of Florida. Grandchildren Cassandra Gentile/JT Elmendorf, Chara Boice, and Brandon Boice/Marissa Gorman.

Sandra is predeceased by her brother John "Jack" Navitsky.
