Sandy Marie Kalinsack

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday June 30th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

A funeral home service will be held at 6:00 PM.

Cremation will be held privately.

Sandy Marie Kalinsack 64, formerly of New London, Ct, passed away on June 28th, in her home surrounded by her loved ones and dogs. She resided in Kingston, NY for many of her precious years on this earth. She was born to Catherine and Wade Page in the summer of 1958, July 26th, in Lawrence + Memorial Hospital. Sandy was born an extremely loving, kind, and intelligent woman. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her loved ones, family, friends, or even a stranger.  She was raised by her Aunt Emma and Uncle Eddie Grant. She absolutely adored them and they taught her everything.

She worked in the nursing field for many years. Caring for others' loved ones as if they were her own. She then met her current husband, of 27 years, William J. Kalinsack in 1989 .  They Married may 5th of 1995. They have been madly in love from the moment they met. The love that they shared was the kind of love that you only see in movies. Such a rare and beautiful love to witness. Sandy sadly leaves behind her husband, William Kalinsack 76, and her 3 children, Linda 46, Shawn 41, and Kayla 32. She also has multiple grandchildren that she loved very dearly. As well as 3 living siblings Robert, Wade Jr., and Patti.

Sandy fought exceptionally hard these last 6 months to remain here with us. She would've done anything for her family, even if it meant she would endure suffering. Sandy had such a huge heart and loved and enjoyed so much. However some of her favorite things were, her loved ones laughing and smiling with her, her dogs, Bradee and Maya, as well as, her dachshunds that have crossed the rainbow bridge. She loved to joke and laugh and always had the most beautiful smile. Her husband, children, and grand kids were her world.

She enjoyed  the warmer weather, over the winter and adored the pool her husband built for her when they built their home in 1997. She was also a fan of tattoos or body artwork as she called them, and she had 5. Sandy always had so much faith in others and proclaimed that, "you should never judge a book by its cover." When it came to advice she gave some of the best advice and she never judged anyone. She was one of the most remarkable women on this planet and I was so very blessed to call her mom, as did my siblings.
