Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday April 21, from 4pm to 6pm.
A procession will form 9am Monday at the funeral home.

Dr. Sean P. Donovan, 42, of Patroon Creek Boulevard Albany died unexpectedly on Wednesday April 17, 2024. Sean was born in Kingston, New York on May 14, 1981. He is the son of Dr. Paul B. Donovan and Eleanor (Cooney) Donovan.
He graduated from University College Dublin Ireland in 2006 with a medical degree-MB,BCH,BAO. After returning to the United States he completed a residency as an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Albany Medical Center in 2015 and has been employed at Albany Medical Center since that time. He was part of the disaster relief team that went to Puerto Rico from Albany. He was a past medical director of the Schenectady Fire Department.
Surviving Sean in addition to his parents are his sister Sinead Perry and her husband Anthony. Many aunts, uncles and cousins in the United States and County Roscommon Ireland. He will deeply missed by family and friends.
He had a wide interest in sports, but his favorite was ice hockey. He was the goal keeper for the Kingston High School Ice Hockey Team, and continued to play recreational ice hockey until the present time, being affiliated with the local over-forty ice hockey team in Albany.
In addition to his dedication to medicine, he had a wide range of interests. He took one year to travel during his undergraduate years, and that included bungee jumping from the bridge in Wellington, New Zealand, Scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and was also a trainee helicopter pilot.
He had a great love of comedy and enjoyed political debate and satire. His remains will be taken to Ireland.
