Seanny Ashdown

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday January 23, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Seanny Ashdown obtained his wings on Nov. 24, 2023, due to an accidental overdose. Born on Sept. 15, 1989 in Kingston N.Y. He spent most of his life in Kingston, Albany and most recently Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Seanny worked in the restaurant business as a head server and a bar manager.  He worked in numerous establishments in Kingston, Albany and Myrtle Beach. He also donated his time to The Knothole League as a coach for "his kids". Children gravitated towards Seanny.  They loved him and he loved them.

He cared deeply for his family,  friends,  neighbors and anyone who crossed his path. He had friends from all walks of life. He had an infectious laugh, an amazing smile and a great sense of humor even while he was struggling with his demons. The light of a funny, empathetic, loving, smart, kind hearted soul flickered out. He was taken from us by a relentless drug. We hope you realize that no one is immune to this epidemic.

He now joins his soulmate and his true love Cahlil Hyacinth, maternal grandparents Ralph FN Johnson and Susan J. Johnson, paternal grandparents Edwin and Geraldine Ashdown,  his father Thomas Ashdown, his brother Matt Johnson, and his cousins Miss Emma and Master Connor.

He leaves behind his Momma Love, Monique Johnson,  step-dad Richard Glass, sister Lauren Ashdown who he referred to as "twin", nephews Cameron, Kayden, Giovanni and his niece Brooklyn. His brother Troy (Tracy) and nieces Gabrielle and Gianna. His favorite aunt and uncle, Michele and Bob Childs, and cousins Zach, Taylor and Kai.
