Sheila H. Meyer

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church in Kingston and burial at St. Mary's Cemetery will be held privately.

Sheila H. Meyer, a 60 year resident of Hurley, died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 peacefully surrounded by her family. She was 88. A graduate of Kingston High School, she worked briefly for IBM in Kingston before becoming a homemaker. Born July 8 1936, in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late William and Kathryn (Nugent) Partlan.

Sheila was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Walter F. Meyer Sr. also of Kingston and one sister Kathleen Jordan.

Surviving are her children, one son, Walter F. Meyer Jr. (MaryAnn) of Troy and one daughter Susan A. Bundschuh (Michael) of Saugerties, three grandchildren, Sophie K. Meyer, Dane and Chase Bundschuh as well as cousins survive.
