Shelley J. Mccarthy

Shelley J. McCarthy, 63 of Rifton died Thursday June 1, 2023 at her home. Born June 20, 1959 in Bennington, Vermont she was the daughter of the late James and Joan (Reed) Myers.

Shelley moved from Vermont to Poughkeepsie. where she graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School.  Shelley owned, Just Abstracts, Inc. in Rifton where she was a title searcher.  She enjoyed painting and sewing but her biggest passion was cooking for her family.

Surviving is her husband, John M. McCarthy;  her daughter Evelyn Myers-McCarthy;  her son Alexander Iannone.  Many nieces and nephews who loved her very much also survive.
