Steven E. Benchic, Sr.

Steven E. Benchic, Sr. (68Y) of Lake Katrine NY, Died Wednesday June 3rd 2026. He was Born to Robert and Marian Benchic, both predeceased, on November 12th 1957.

Steven will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was always helping people and was always a phone call away. He admired Amateur Radios, building a collection over his years. As a man of many trades; his favorite was driving, from trucks to cabs and buses.

He is survived by his wife of 42Y Sherry Benchic (61Y, Lake Katrine NY), his Son Steven JR (35Y, Lake Katrine,NY), and his 4 Daughters Melissa Benchic (41Y, Mt Vernon NY) Krystal Sylva (40Y, Jacksonville FL) Kayla Benchic (36Y, Lake Katrine NY) and Dorothea Benchic (32Y, Kingston NY).

He is also survived by a Brother John Benchic(Kingston,NY), son in law Joel Sylva (Jacksonville FL) and Eleven Grandchildren who he loved all dearly, Stephon, Joshua, Jordin, Daishoun, Josiah, Gabriel, Makaila, Rodimus, Alijah, Mason, and Milo
