Susan B. Emrich , 66, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long battle with kidney disease. She was born in Kingston, New York on August 8, 1959, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marian Emrich.

Susan enjoyed writing, especially poetry and she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a caregiver to her  brother Walter for many years.

She is survived by her sister, Lynn Scott, a brother David and his wife Sandra Emrich, sister-in-law Judith Emrich, nephews George Scott, Brian (Denise) Scott, Andrew (Heidi) Emrich, Christopher (Kara) Emrich, Charles (Danielle) Emrich, niece Katherine (Thomas) Farkas, grandnephews Logan, Trevor, Trent, Benjamin, Owen and Levi, grandnieces Gwen and Gillian.

In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her brothers Dennis, Joseph and Walter, sister-in-law Mary Emrich and brother-in-law George Scott.
