A Home Going Celebration will take place at New Progressive Baptist Church on 8 Hone Street Kingston New York 12401.

Visitation will take place at 10:00am and Home Going Service will follow right after at 11:00 am on Friday May 9th, 2025.

A private Burial  will take  place at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery at a later date at Family's request.

Repast will take place in the fellowship hall at New Progressive Baptist Church following the home going service.

Suzie Maybell Austin died Monday April 28th, 2025 at Golden, Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Born February 1st, 1963  in Cheraw, South Carolina. She was the Daughter of the late  Mae Florence Austin also known as Mary Francis Seay and John Maurice Vaughn.

Suzie loved the lord and gave her life to Christ. Suzie was a faithful member of the New Progressive Baptist Church for many years. She attended church up until her health did not permit her to attend church. Suzie was still a member of the church at the time of her death. Suzie had a beautiful smile that lit up the room when she came in the room.  Family was important to her. She was a sweet gentle soul who would help those in need.  She was loved and cared for by many, we will miss her

Suzie is survived by her three kids, Tanea Seay with her husband (Kevin Chronister) of Hyde Park, NY, Jason Maurice Seay of Kingston, NY and Jamar Jackson, of Tuscan Arizona. One grandchild Jason Maurice Seay Jr. of Kingston NY. Aunts and Uncles: Jeanne M. Austin of Kingston, NY, Johnnie Skinner (wife-Jodi) of Kingston NY, Randy Skinner (wife-Juanita) of South Carolina Lila Butler, of Wappingers Falls, NY and one great uncle Dan Jackson (wife-Elsie Jackson) of South Carolina.  Cousins: Louise Banks, Margaret, Serena Johnson, Lawrence Butler, Patrice Johnson, Tyasia Boler, Kijafa Boler, Vinisha Boler Messiah Johnson, Lacretia Mower (husband- Steven), Rita Skinner (Matt Banks), Ranesha Skinner, Torrell Skinner and a host of second and third cousins.

She was predeceased by grandparents John and Mattie Skinner, Mother Mary F. Seay, and some aunts and uncles.
