Thaddeus Anthony Musialkiewicz

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday August 3rd from 4-7 PM. 

A funeral procession will form Tuesday 10 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. 

Thaddeus Anthony Musialkiewicz, affectionately known as "Ted" or "Teddy," passed away peacefully at his home. A lifelong Kingston resident, he was born on November 18, 1948, to Thaddeus Francis Musialkiewicz and Florence (Scanlon) Musialkiewicz.

Ted proudly served in the United States Army Reserve after training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and later served with the Kingston Reserve Center and Camp Drum.

He began his career with Local 44 before founding Musialkiewicz Construction, a respected company that served Ulster County for more than 40 years. Ted believed in doing every job the right way and never cutting corners. Known for his honesty, craftsmanship, and work ethic, Ted mentored countless tradesmen and was especially proud to pass his trade on to his only son, Thaddeus Musialkiewicz, ensuring the family tradition would continue.

Ted married his first wife, Louise Vanacore, and together they raised three children: Maria Beecroft, Dominique Musialkiewicz and her husband John Perry, and Thaddeus Musialkiewicz (TeddyJoe).

Family was his greatest joy. He loved being "Poppy" to his grandchildren Alexandria, Antonia, Ean, Whitney, Theo, Lucas, J.T., Sophia, and Jordan, and great-grandchildren Landon, Owen, Quincey, and Jayce. He rarely missed a game, graduation, birthday, or family gathering.

He is also survived by his sisters, Karen Dietz and Myra Musialkiewicz, with whom he shared a lifelong close bond; his nephews Kevin and Ricki; close friends Gary Arold, Jimmy McGowan, and Sal DeCicco; and many extended family members and friends.

Ted attended Immaculate Conception Church for many years, supported local charities, belonged to the White Eagle Benevolent Society, was one of the original members of the Olive Rescue Squad alongside his father-in-law Joe Vanacore, and celebrated more than 50 years of sobriety through Alcoholics Anonymous.

He loved country music and treasured trips to Dallas Hot Wieners with his grandchildren, where countless laughs were shared and memories were made.

Ted was predeceased by his parents; his brother-in-law, Ronnie Dietz; his lifelong best friend, George Kithcart; and his friend and colleague, Art Ferraro.

His work helped shape Ulster County, but his greatest legacy is the family he loved and the lives he touched.
