Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 4pm to 7pm.

A procession will form at the funeral home Saturday at 9:00am.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph's Church at 10:00am.

Burial will follow in the family plot in Wiltwyck cemetery

Dr. Thomas S. Ingarra, Jr., 72 of Kingston, passed away on December 28, 2024 after a battle with cancer.  He was the son of the late Dr. Thomas S. Ingarra, Sr. and Lucille Ingarra (nee Donza).

As a child, he loved playing cowboys and baseball with his brother, sister, and neighborhood friends.  He was a gifted baseball player, as well as having a gifted mind.  He graduated from Kingston High School in 1969, then went on to Fordham University, graduating in 1973 and earned his medical degree from Albany Medical in 1977.  After completing his residency, he returned to his hometown where he devoted his life to the practice of medicine like his father before him.  He was a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and maintained his board certification in Family Practice until his death.  He was a healer.  The last of his kind.   He didn't drive an expensive car or live in an expensive house because that's not why he became a doctor.  Instead he would drive his modest car or one he borrowed to make house calls to patients too sick to come to the office.  He loved and appreciated his long time assistant, Debbie and the wonderful women who brought him joy throughout his life. He loved Marcus Aurelius, Roman history, smoking cigars with friends, and horse racing.  As we all know though, medicine was his true love.

He is survived by his brother and best friend, Joseph M. Ingarra, Esq. and his beloved sister, Annarose Ingarra-Milch and their spouses, Carol Ingarra (nee Secreto) and Charles Milch, his nieces and nephews, Amanda Ingarra, Jenny Ingarra-Williams, Sky Milch, Honey Dawn Milch, and Zachariah Milch, as well as his grand-niece and nephews.  He is also survived by dear friends and family.

The family asks the medical community to open their hearts and medical practices to care for Dr. Ingarra's patients with the same compassion and love that he had for every person who came to him for care.
