Vincent Kelder

Vincent Kelder passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, after an incredibly courageous and hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Vince dedicated his life to helping others on their journey to recovery and would have celebrated 30 years of sobriety this July. He was the co-founder of R.Y.A.N. (Raising Your Awareness about Narcotics) and was instrumental in the establishment of the R.Y.A.N. House in Saugerties, providing hope and support to countless individuals and families.

Beyond his commitment to service, Vince will be lovingly remembered as an avid hunter and, above all, as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. His strength, compassion, and unwavering love for his family will leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carole Kelder; his daughter, Randi Delanoy, and her husband, Randy; and his cherished grandchildren, Rylan and Asher. He is also survived by his mother, Florence "Flo" Kelder; his brother, Ronald Kelder, and his wife, Mitzi and their son, Tyler; his mother-in-law, Mary Alice Berardi; his sister-in-law, Maria Naccarato, and his brothers-in-law, Charles VanWagenen and Justin VanWagenen.

Vince was predeceased by his father, Vincent Kelder; his beloved son, Ryan Kelder; and his sister, Deborah Kelder.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the R.Y.A.N. House, 19 Barclay Street, Saugerties, NY 12477.
