Virginia "Dolly" Ellsworth

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

A funeral home service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 AM.

Burial will follow Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.

Virginia "Dolly" Ellsworth, 85, of the Town of Ulster died Tuesday October 14, 2025 at Hudson Valley Rehab and Extended Care. Born February 22, 1940 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Melvin Lewis and Virginia Williams.

Dolly was a homemaker who enjoyed listening to Elvis and watching Hallmark movies. Most importantly she loved being with her family.

Dolly is survived by her children Fran Ellsworth, Dorrie Miller, Frank Ellsworth Jr. Robin Starr and Sierra Starr: her caretaker Robert Mergendahl, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Frank Ellsworth, her children Janice Ellsworth, Deborah Bell, and Virginia Dermody and brother Gary Lewis.
