Virginia A. Finch

A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday May 6, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.

Inurnment will follow at The Niches of Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.

Virginia A. Finch also known as "Ginny", 79, of DeWitt Lake Road, Eddyville, NY, passed away surrounded by her love ones at  Mid Hudson Regional Hospital on Tuesday May 2, 2023.

Virginia was born November 7, 1943 at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston NY, daughter of the late Ellen (Powers) and William Schweinler.

She met her husband Robert C. Finch and married him on August 8, 1970. She leaves behind her husband of fifty-two years, son Robert W. Finch, daughter Stacey Finch and special canine daughter Daisy Mae. Sister Jane Fiore and many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was employed as comptroller of Kingston Urban development for over thirty years. Ginny was a genuine loving and caring person with a true heart of gold. She enjoyed SHOPPING (for hours on end)!!! She also enjoyed eating out with family/friends, taking family vacations to Virginia Beach yearly, getting her nails and hair done on schedule, feeding her old fashioned donuts to the birds at the beach, working on word search puzzles. She truly enjoyed eating vanilla ice cream and Hershey kisses while sharing them with her canine daughter Daisy Mae. There was not a time that she wasn't dressed to impress.
