Virginia M. Greene

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday April  23rd from 10 AM until 12 noon.

A funeral service will take place at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Hurley Cemetery.

Virginia M. Greene, former longtime resident of West Hurley, died Friday April 19, 2024 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingston. She was born November 19, 1934 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Hollis and Mildred Quick.

Virginia worked for many years as a CNA for many agencies. Throughout the years, Virginia enjoyed yard sales, penny socials, and thrift shopping. She also enjoyed baking and loved animals.

Surviving are her daughters Debbie Ross and Diane Ulrich as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two sisters Thelma Ricketson and Barbara Jean Worden as well as nieces and nephews also survive.

She is predeceased by her husband Walter H. Greene, her son Walter W. Greene and siblings Howard and Hollis Quick and Carol Freer.
