William “Bill” Frontera, 78, of Indian Shores, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at age 78.
Born on July 22, 1948, in Brooklyn, New York, Bill was the son of the late Alfred and Grace Frontera.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. He enjoyed a successful career in banking and financial services, spending many years with Chase Manhattan Bank and later working with Prudential Financial before his retirement.
A devoted son, Bill maintained a close and loving relationship with his parents throughout their lives. He visited them frequently and provided a condominium in Florida, where they were able to enjoy many happy years of their retirement. His thoughtfulness and devotion to their happiness and well-being reflected the importance he placed on family.
Bill also had a special fondness for Sweetheart, a cocker spaniel who captured his heart. He delighted in bringing her special treats and watching her enthusiastic reactions. These simple moments brought him genuine happiness and revealed his gentle, affectionate side.
Bill is survived by his loving sister, Ann Rial, and her husband, Jim; his niece, Jennifer Frontera; his nephew, Tom Frontera, and his wife, Cherie; his great-nieces Liliana, Bridget, Audrey, and Grace; and his sister-in-law, Veronica Frontera.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his brother, Dr. Alfred T. Frontera and his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Pat Frontera.
Bill will be fondly remembered for his devotion to family, his thoughtful gestures, and the quiet pleasures that brought him happiness.
