William A. Lee Sr.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

A service will follow at 11:30 am.

Burial will be in Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.

WILLIAM A. LEE   SR. died at his home on Tuesday evening October 3, 2023 after a long illness.

William was born in Kingston, New York on June 26, 1932, a son of the late Josephine (Berryann) and Harry Leroy Lee.

He graduated Kingston High School class of 1950. He attended IBM Apprentice Tool and Die school  and became employed by the company in 1951. Served in the National Guard 156th Field Artillery where he attended Officer Candidate Leadership School. He was inducted in The United States Army in 1955. Stationed in Atlanta Georgia and France until discharge in 1957.

Mr. Lee returned to the employment of IBM and retired as a Staff Manufacturing Engineer in 1992.

He was a "Mr. fix it" cars, computers anything mechanical/ electrical. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Bill is predeceased by his parents, wife Dolores E (Buley) Lee, son, William A. Lee Jr. brother George Lee, sisters, Ella Lowe, Virginia Reis, and Anna Smith.  Nieces and nephews survive.
