William "Bill" R. Kresser

The Kresser Family will receive Law Enforcement and DEP coworkers at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1st from 3-4 PM.

Friends are welcome to pay their respects from 4-8 PM.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, April 2nd, 11 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 294 Greenkill Avenue, Kingston.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, William R. Kresser on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Bill was born in Kingston, graduated from Kingston High School in 1989 and Syracuse University in 1993. He joined the DEP in 2006.

Bill was a dedicated family man, always putting us first. He had immense strength, kindness and unwavering love for all those around him. His love, laughter, humor and personality were infectious and his spirit will live on in our hearts and in the countless lives he touched. We will miss him dearly, but his legacy will guide us, family and friends always.

Surviving is his wife Pamela Kresser, their daughter Abigail Kresser, his parents Charles and Julia Kresser, siblings Petula Deising and her husband Eric, Chris "T" Kresser, Dan Kresser and his wife Kristin. Many nieces and nephews. And a numerous number of other family, friends and colleagues.
