Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday from 4 pm to 7 pm.

A funeral procession will form Tuesday 10:00 am  at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine Laboure Church at 11:00 am.

WILLIAM ROBERT RODDEN SR. 84, of Wintergreen Lane at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation on Tuesday July 8, 2025, following a lengthy period of illness. His family was by his side.

William was born in Kingston, N Y on May 3, 1941, a son of the late Eleanor (Isaacson) Sinsabaugh and James Rodden, and stepfather Clifford "Gippy" Sinsabaugh. Bill graduated from Kingston High School in 1959. Early in his career he worked at Woolworth's in Kingston, where he met his wife, and in management in New York City. He was a proud member of Operating Engineers Union, Local 825 and an ardent supporter of the Labor movement. He was a crusher operator at Hudson Cement and Independent Cement. For many years he was happily employed at Tilcon Industries in Rockland County and enjoyed the friendship and laughter shared with his coworkers and employers. As a young man he raced stock cars at Lebanon Valley Speedway. He was a lifetime member of John Cordts Hose Co. number 8 and a founding member of Scotch Mountain Gun Club in Delhi New York. Although not an active hunter for many decades, he continued to appreciate the experience of nature with hikes in the woods and the comradery of other members. In his retirement he pursued his interest in researching the history and origins of Rock and Roll music.

Surviving are his wife Madeline "Maggie" (Fitzgerald) Rodden. A son, William R. Rodden II and Leah Cole, Brother James Rodden, his wife Elaine, brother, Clifford G. Sinsabaugh, his wife Barbara , nieces and nephews also survive.
