William M. Smith, Iii

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday February 7th from 11 AM until 1 PM. A funeral service will take place at 1 PM.

William M. "Willie" Smith, III passed away February 1, 2024. He was born April 18, 1956 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, a son of William M. Smith, Jr. and Augustine Coleman Smith.

Willie was a kind and loving man who endeared himself to all who knew him. He loved animals and spent many days watching the birds swarm to the bird feeder. He was friendly and known for his handshakes, hugs, and smile. Willie will surely be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Surviving are his siblings Herbert, Gregory, Patrick, Adrian and Monique Smith, aunts Dorothy Taylor, Sharon Smith, Shirley Smith, and cousins Sharmia Smith, Ronald Smith, Lewis Smith, Novella Smith, Von Smith, and Jonathan Smith. A host of nieces and nephews and his family at ARC Woodstock also survive.

He was predeceased by his two brothers Anthony and Stefon Smith.
