William B. Spurgeon

William B. Spurgeon, 64, of Kingston passed away at home on Friday, January 10, 2025. Born on March 20, 1960, he was the son of the late Frank and Carmen (Cotto) Spurgeon.

William began his career as a bread delivery driver. He spent most of his life as a custodian for the New York City School District.

William had a particular passion for music and could always be seen with a radio. He danced his whole life right up to his illness.

William also loved food, and pigeons that he kept as pets in his younger years. He liked Wrestling and football and family gatherings.

William is survived by his siblings: Burnell Lopez, J.T. Spurgeon, Kim Riley, Preston Spurgeon, and Benjamin Spurgeon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, William is predeceased by his siblings: Brenda Spurgeon, Tammy Spurgeon, and Jane Spurgeon.
